At fifteen years young, I was given my first job as a dental assistant. I loved the environment and decided in those moments that I would become a dental hygienist. After two years of college, I figured why not go for the gusto! In 1976, I became a registered Dental Hygienist, in 1978 I graduated from California State Teachers College with a BS of Education of Dental Hygiene, and finally in 1982, I received my dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Immediately after graduation, I delivered my first child, our son Kevin.  It was a very busy spring!  During those first years I worked at 3 large practices as an associate dentist.  Those experiences taught me that to provide the warm caring atmosphere I was craving, I would have to create it on my own.  I opened this small, intimate office in the summer of 1989. I was born and raised in the marine corps and today I am married with three grown children.
